COVID-19 Guidelines
Our Protocol
The following operating protocol is based on our risk assessment, in adherence with: ‘guidance for people who work in grassroots sport and gym/leisure facilities.’
-
I am committed to the wellbeing of my clients, and if I show any signs of COVID-19, I will not enter the studio, and will follow self-isolation rules.
-
Clients asked to arrive at the time of their appointment only, and to leave promptly after class.
-
Clients temperatures will be taken, and a few pertinent questions about their health will be asked before every session.
-
Social distancing guidelines will be observed.
-
Clients must wear socks in the studios. (No bare feet.)
-
Clients to bring their own water bottle.
-
Arrive wearing Pilates appropriate clothing and with a minimal amount of personal belongings.
-
Clients and teacher to use sanitiser prior to their session. Hand sanitiser will be provided in the studio.
-
After each session, we will carry out cleaning of all equipment and touch points throughout the premises (including door handles etc), using disinfectant and paper towels.
-
There will be a 15 minute window in between sessions for cleaning, and to minimise the number of people in the building at one time.
-
Windows will be kept open as much as possible.
-
First Aid: Although there may be heightened concerns around first aid, this will continue as normal, with the addition of gloves and face masks being worn for general first aid.
-
We are continually reviewing our policies in line with Government advice, particularly the ‘Working safely during coronavirus (COVID-19)’ guidance for those providing close contact services.
